How do I find lots near golf and ski areas?

Sunday, September 13th, 2009
Nthedoghouse asked:

We want to buy a lot for development. Eventually it will become our retirement home but for now, we want to buy land and then build a house on it which we would like to rent as a vacation home. Our preference would be to build on a private golf club near a ski resort. Is there a resource that lists such properties for different geographic areas?
Thanks for the replies that I have received. Firstly, we are only looking at North America. Secondly, we are looking for a resource that can help us search and compare various areas such as Utah, Colorado, Wyoming etc. We need to evaluate the amenities available (golf, ski, fishing, etc.), the cost of the property, construction costs, vacation rental markets, etc. Does anyone out there have any expertise in this area?

Golf carts, in need of repair, can be moved using forklifts.

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

If you own and operate a golf course, you know that golf carts eventually need to be repaired. Golf carts that are inoperable often get in the way of carts that are in working order and running condition. If can get to be quite a hassle, moving carts around to access the ones that you are able to rent to customers. This can be done easily with forklifts. You can use a foklift to move broken down golf carts to an isolated location. They will be out of the way, allowing you to access only the carts that are in working order and ready to be used.
