      if i understand your question correctly - youre asking for destinations that are not currently hot spots, right?

      If thats the case, i say costa rica. thats a growing tourist destination, very US tourist freindly and south america has a growing presence in professional golf.

      coasta rica also has the beaches, mountains etc and is really reasonable budget wise.

      I would say that people will start recognizing the greatness of golf in Southeast Asia. Its a long trip, but with relatively cheap green fees, great packages and a truly one of a kind experience its worth it. Thailand has great courses and resorts, as does Johor Bahru, Maylasia. If choosing Johor I would suggest Austin Hills Country Club and Daiman 18.

      The Middle East. Especially Dubai, The UAE, etc. Tourism is up sharply and there are many new upscale hotels being built; many of which will have golf coursed as well.
